We decided to try a new curry restaurant in Staines on the river, but after the rain we have been having for the last two weeks, everything is on the river! Ok so I exaggerate a bit but I am so tired of it already and feel guilty saying so since the UK is still in drought & apparently we need 6 months of continuous rain (in winter - nogal!) to replenish the water tables. Well, back to the curry, we had to wait a while for a table but took the opportunity to study the menu, eat poppadums and stare at other people.
