Very sadly and with heavy hearts we went to Ted's funeral on Tuesday. Most of you who have visited us will have met Cobus and Wendy's neighbours, Brian and Helen. They host the annual croquet tournament and have welcomed all of us Saffers into their home on many an occasion. Not only do we get to have many a laugh and glass of wine with them, they kindly share their extended family with us! Ted is Helen's Dad and has left us with many happy memories and stories to remember. The pear liqueur...the banning from eBay....UKIP....and a peep into an England we will never know but could experience through him.
Ted we will miss you, but even if you have gone, you have left behind memories like little gifts we can unwrap within ourselves to share around amongst our friends and family, and always served up with smiles. Humba kashle Baba!
